FASTEST FIX! How To Fix iPhone “i” Glitch

A recent iPhone glitch developed in iOS 11.1 that is preventing users from typing the letter “i” (I guess we can call it the “iGlitch”).  With this glitch, users are trying to type the letter i but instead are getting the letter “a” along with a weird symbol.  Apple is working on releasing an update to fix this issue.  However, in the meantime, there is a quick workaround:

Here’s how to do it:

  • Go to your Settings
  • Click “General”
  • Click “Keyboard”
  • Click “Text Replacement”
  • Click “+” to add a new one
  • Type an upper-case “I” under “Phrase” and type a lower-case “i” under “Shortcut.”

Keep an eye out for a new update from Apple that should fix this issue for good
